Cath Ferguson studied Fine Art at Manchester Polytechnic and then graduated with a Masters degree from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 1997. She is currently completing a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University which investigates a creative correspondence between writing and painting and the philosophical conditions for such an event.
A demonstration of her theoretical interests can be found in an essay published in the second issue of the painting magazine Turps Banana.
