The work over
recent years has pursued two strands of realisation and exposure..
Alongside exhibiting in galleries nationally and internationally,
work has been produced through commissions to realise public artworks,
temporary and permanent, for significant sites in London and the
UK. Much of the work is site specific, produced as a response to
research into the particulars and qualities of a space/place.
The outcome
is often architectural, with a concern for structure and construction.
There is a focus on substance, matter and stuff, and how this can
be exploited, manipulated, accentuated and transformed. Light ,
colour and reflection are intrinsic, bringing aspects of time to
the work. The fugitive, the evanescent, the diaphanous, are elements
that introduce the sublime.
