David Webb was born in Exeter in 1973. He studied in Hastings,
Aberystwyth and Canterbury, before residencies at the Cyprus College
of Art 2001-2 and the 2006 Triangle Workshop, New York City. He
was awarded a fellowships at the MacDowell Colony, New Hampshire
in 2007 and Yaddo, New York State in 2008. Exhibitions include the
Wales Drawing Biennial at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, the 2004 International
Biennial in Armenia, the BP Portrait Award 2005 and The Jerwood
Drawing Prize 2008. Group shows include at MOMA Wales; Long and
Ryle, London; The Painting Center, New York and Transition Gallery,
London. He has also shown in Cyprus, Canada and Germany. He joined
A.P.T Studios in 2003.
