Redstart Arts are back with a new set of sculptures that will grace the Deptford skyline throughout the summer. Using the Henri Matisse 'Cut-Outs' at the Tate Modern as their inspiration, the team has created a set of highly distinctive eight feet high self-portraits.

The Redstarts are a group of talented and audacious young adults with learning disabilities, who, working with Deptford-based artists Cash Aspeek and Chris Marshall, have come to be a well-known troupe on the local art scene.Funded by Arts Council England and supported by the Art in Perpetuity Trust, the sculptures will tower atop the rooftop of A.P.T Studios, one of the oldest buildings on the Creek.

selfSCAPE is best viewed from the DLR between Deptford Bridge and Greenwich.
